"Dancing firefly"

Been counting the days since the moment we met
Reminiscing the memories in this romance we get
Days and nights have passed when you were beside
Now all I ever see is this emptiness inside


We used to be so cool, we used to be so fun
Looking back, everything is great under the sun
But where are we now, I always wonder
This damn distance is really a bother


Every day, I keep thinking, how to make love flourish
Thinking of ways, like yesterday's poems we cherish
The poet inside is gone, the artist cannot be found
Here I am standing, stranded under the same ground


They say guys may flirt all day
Getting attractive to a lot of beauty
But guys are pretty complicated, I agree
Coz when they love, it is for real you see


I seldom said those words I used to say
You might be wonderin' if I'm going to stay
At one point, I won't, on second thought, I will
Confused if destiny or faith is the same as freewill


At the end of the day, I came to realize
No matter how the future we analyze
There will always be that uncertainty
In the middle of this silence and serenity


Oh dear, I might be different right now
But don't worry if I ever changed somehow
For change is constant like the king of Troy
Yet look closely for I'm still the same boy


When everythin' has been said and done
When sorrows and tears are all gone
And your happiness maybe with another man
Do remember that once there was someone


Who dance with you in love's melody
Like a dancing firefly in your balcony
Who would believe in days beyond forever
Like a fairytale with happy ever after


Someone who scold you when naughty
And hugs you when you are weary
Someone who will kiss you gently
And loves you more than anybody
