I have just known you not too long ago
But been around before my first hello
The beauty I believe only you possess
Mesmerized me for a while now, I guess
A dancing butterfly without direction
All of a sudden has caught my attention
And since then I've been following you
Like a shadow or a permanent tattoo
How I dream that maybe one of these days
Even for just a single moment you'd say
You'd like to land and rest in my arm
Or in my shoulder I will keep you warm
I know sometimes my ignorance is showing
Trying to catch you even without a warning
I hope this won't be a hint of an ending
Of something I know not yet the beginning
A person's heart is just like a butterfly
Catch it by force, then it'll leave and fly
But I decided to wait and take this chance
Be contented in watching you from a distance
