"Silent Scream"

How this world has become, I have always wonder
Around you are thieves, and demons and murderers
A glimpse of a precious life from a mother's womb
Can't help but scream for the innocent young soul

Such a shame how those in power cannot do any action
Wondering what they meant with human rights violation
Does it have to be like this for the people to wake up
That the world we are building for our kids is corrupt

Are we to blame the parent of the precious one?
Or the beast who mercilessly slaughtered its prey?
How about the adrenaline rush from the taken medicine?
Or maybe the people in power who will do nothing?

My hands and heart are shaking in absolute anger
As I think over how the poor child's future
Was destroyed from the hand of a murderer
Such a sharp knife of an unforeseen danger

If this is the level of pain felt by a stranger
Think about how much pain the mother will suffer
How she tried to protect her child from danger
In a single instance a precious life disappears

I pray for the innocent soul of the departed
And for the loved ones' who were left behind
I pray for justice to be serve where it's due
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth will do
